Boundless Beauty: South Delta Watercolor Reflections was inspired by South Delta. It’s easy to feel called to paint the spectacular scenery in this beautiful place I call home. I often create paintings with thoughtful symbolism and layered concepts. Yet, for a change, I kept my focus on observations and techniques. This felt liberating, relaxing and easy.
This series was created while listening to the melodic, free-flowing, acoustic guitar of local musician Simon Fox. I highly recommend you have a listen to his soothing music.
I hope you enjoy this series as much as I enjoyed making it. All works are watercolour, with the exception of the last painting which is acrylic.
